As Manager Reservations, you are the first point of contact for this department. In cooperation with our Rooms Division Manager, you ensure optimal hotel occupancy. You guide our colleagues in accepting, processing and checking all aspects related to reservations.

Your daily tasks include properly addressing and informing (potential) guests, as well as coordinating and monitoring issued options and providing various overviews regarding reservations, room turnovers, etc. You manage the reservations team, consisting of 4 very nice colleagues and an intern.

Flexibility, team spirit, motivation, punctuality and collegiality are important elements in performing the job. You show high levels of interest in the organisation and its services and perform your duties with passion and enthusiasm for the profession.

TO DO during a work week:

• Handling requests using the reservation system;
• Moving the guest to purchase additional services/products;
• Checking whether requests regarding numbers and dates can be met;
• Informing applicants (guests/organisations) about the possibilities;
• Preparing offers within the guidelines regarding discounts;
• Recording bookings made in the reservation system;
• If necessary, recording and monitoring options issued;
• Contacting guests to finalise options;
• Handling occurring changes in bookings (cancellations, overbookings, etc.);
• Establishing and transmitting data to administration for invoicing;
• Providing and interpreting various overviews related to reservations and room turnovers;
• Optimising the hotel occupancy in cooperation with the Rooms Division Manager
• Providing information and data for extensive analyses.

• Minimum MBO4 level education;
